Diamond Palace

We had a delicious meal at Diamond Palace. Authentic Cantonese restaurant with excellent service. We ate the black pepper live lobster which was really excellent. We also had hot & sour soup, shrimp shumai, shrimp dumplings, and egg tarts. The tea is good too. Servers walk around offering side dishes from carts you can order as well as ordering directly from the menu. Great for any size party if you want something fun for a large group. Highly recommend!

A fun spot to enjoy fresh, hot dim sum on the weekends. Large banquet venue with nicely dressed staff that greets you with iced water or hot tea, and many carts of steaming hot dim sum being pushed around. Service is fast and plentiful. The portion sizes are huge, we got full pretty quickly. A large variety, you can order from steamed dumplings, fried rolls, congee soup, fresh rice rolls, or Chinese dishes. Not the best dim sum I’ve ever had, but it gets the craving satisfied and my soul feeling happy.

01-11-24 I chose this place when my sister asked where I wanted to have lunch to celebrate my birthday (Thanks sis!). Didn’t ordered much but we both enjoyed our experience dining here. Service: Shout out to Michael (manager) and Sarah (assistant manager) who came by and said hi. Looking forward to coming back here again. The food here is simply yummy! Finally got to check out this place after hearing it from friends and family. Came on a Sunday at noon and got lucky enough to get a table for 9 right away. As soon as we sat, the dim sum came in less than a minute. Teas and water came shortly. My family and I were very impressed with the food and service. Special shout-out to Henry, our server. He was professional, funny, and on top of making sure we got what we needed. I was also impressed when the manager checked in on us to make sure we were satisfied, and even brought out some food for us. Would come back here again for dim sum. 🥟

Ordered chicken pan-fried noodles, broccoli beef with oyster sauce, shrimp & chive dumplings, sautéed pea pod leaves (pea vines) with garlic, and a couple desserts (egg tart & egg yolk bun). Everything was delicious & very high quality. Pea vines & pan fried noodles were our favorites— Egg yolk bun was slightly too sweet for one person to eat, we split them in half to enjoy.

Exceptional Service. We went for Dim Sum this morning for the first time at Diamond Palace and will definitely go back in addition to recommending to others. The establishment was clean and tidy. Well lit and welcoming. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They definitely care about customer service and making sure that their diners' have an enjoyable experience. Multiple languages spoken including English, Spanish, and Chinese (not sure if Cantonese or Mandarin). I was with my service dog and there weren't any issues. Harley just laid beside my chair and the staff were aware of where he was and made sure not to disturb either of us. Diverse menu including a picture menu which is awesome. I have enjoyed traditional dim sum for over forty years and the food at Diamond Palace was tasty. I prefer a different type of crust for my egg tarts but it was still good. We had Rice Rolls (BBQ Pork and Shrimp) along with the other favourites. Water and Tea service was not slow. Luis made sure that you did not want for water long if you did drink it all before he came around again. The reason it cost us $20 - $30 per person is that we eat a lot so don't let that be a deterrent. Overall I would rate Service at 5+ Stars and Food 4+ Stars
